"You are not eligible to renew Azure for Students" after first time signing up to azure using student mail

Hello

Today I tried signing up to Microsoft Azure using my student mail. I filled all the credentials, Including name, address, phone number and so on. When trying to sign up for the 'Azure for students', it redirects me to a new page where I get the following message: "You are not eligible to renew Azure for Students".

This surprises me since I've never used Azure until today. I am positive that my place of education is eligible for the Azure student subscription because my friends in my class have gotten access with their student mails, except for me. Can somebody help me?

    Hi,

    In this case can you contact your local University IT Support team to check the account and mail ID if the valid for registration and process to register. Chck the registration and eligibility process here - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/offers/ms-azr-0170p/
