Issue: working on joining my tenant in Multi tenant collaboration and I am getting this error:

Resolution: Resolved by @Siya Kumari below are the steps performed

I am having an issue while joining my member tenant to owner tenant using the M365 Admin portal so, I joined my owner tenant using Microsoft Graph API. I have attached the blog link below:

Note: My Multi-tenant organization is configured, and the member tenant ID is added using the M365 portal, I am only getting errors while joining the member tenant so, I only joined my member tenant using Microsoft graph API. You can use step 8 of this blog to join member tenants.

If anyone encounter this in future, here is the steps.

    1. in your Owner tenant look for the member tenant that is pending status, if you have already deleted it.
    2. After the member tenant is deleted, go to your member tenant which has a problem in joining to owner tenant, copy and paste this link to your member tenant browser and join the member again. https://admin.microsoft.com/adminportal/home#/MultitenantCollaboration/Setup User's image
    3. When you see tenant has been added, go back to your Owner tenant and back the member tenant again.
    4. Now back to your member tenant and refresh, then it will be sync successful.
