Hi Team,

We have a Xamarin Forms app in production that supports Intune. We used MAM policies for Intune support, and they are working.

Now it's failing on the Android platform because the device ID isn't retrieving to Intune. Therefore, the conditional access policy is failing. When this value is not returned to InTune, InTune is unable to identify the device and considers it non-compliant.

So we decided to incorporate the InTune SDK in the Xamarin Forms project and wrap the application with the InTune wrapper. However, according to the Microsoft Xamarin Android documentation, it is only supported until the Android 9 version.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/developer/app-sdk-xamarin

So, will this Android Intune SDK work with all Android versions (14, 13, 12, etc.,) and future generations?

@Kathirvelu M (KEO), Thanks for posting in Q&A. After researching, I didn't find the news it works with all Android versions (14, 13, 12, etc. It can be that the Product team is still working on this. You can open case to see if you can get more information on this:
