Hi Everyone,

We have a user that recently lost the ability to attach files to calendar items in Outlook which they are not the delegate or originator; this functionality is something they have used in Outlook for almost a decade. Previously, they could attach items to calendar items of all origins regardless if they created it or not; they can still attach items to calendar items that they have created.

There are some similar discussions but it has been a month since the question has been posted and I wonder if there has been any workarounds created:

    Hi @OwlTecAB ,

As far as I know, this is still not yet supported, and I am afraid there's no perfect workaround for this at present. Given this, I'd suggest the user to share the attachment to the meeting organizer and then ask the organizer to include it into the meetings.

The good news is that, according to the updated information in the official article about this issue, an option to re-enable editing meetings would be released soon. So, you can keep an eye on the official page as the Outlook team will update the topic as soon as the fix are available.
