Hi,

i have a question regarding the Endpoint Privilege Management (im pretty new with intune btw). Im Running a Windows11 Client and i do have the licenses required for EMP.

My Problem is that the button "Run with elevated access" does not appear when i perform a right click on the file i deployed with a hashkey. Neither it appear under "more Options". Which is strange because it worked once. Than i did a fresh start and now the option did no appear again.

I did set up a policy regarding the elevated access. It does appear under "Check-in Status" as Success, regarding the System Account and the Current User im logged in with. When it comes to the file under the "Check-in Status" only the Current User appears as success. It does not show at all a System Account, nor success or Error.

So far i tried multiple restarts and multiple fresh starts. I also tried to delete and set up the same file again in the EMP System.

Thanks for your help.

@Sebastian Schneekind, Thanks for posting in Q&A. The "Run with elevated access" option may not appear on certain items in the start menu or taskbar due to a curated right-click menu. This issue is planned to be fixed in a future release. However, if the option was previously available and has since disappeared, it may be due to a device issue enabling Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM). The two most common reasons for this are missing the required Windows updates or failure to communicate with required Intune Endpoints for EPM. It is recommended to check if the device has the required updates and to ensure that it is communicating with the required Intune Endpoints.
