PowerBI connection to Databricks that is using private endpoints

Hello,

We have set up Azure Databricks with Private endpoint enabled and public access disabled.

In the same Vnet we have set up an On-Prem PowerBI gateway.

Everything in the Vnet that is going outside of Vnet is routed to Azure FW.

All traffic inside Vnet is routed inside Vnet.

The connection is working to PowerBI when we set up On-prem datagateway.

We have added PowerBI required port rules in Azure Firewall.

But when we try to add data connection in powerBI portal to the private endpoint enabled Databricks workspace we receive this error:

Unable to create connection for the following reason: Unable to connect to the data source. Either the data source is inaccessible, a connection timeout occurred, or the data source credentials are invalid. Please verify the data source configuration and contact a data source administrator to troubleshoot this issue.

Details:

DataGatewayFolksamFade: ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][ThriftExtension] (14) Unexpected response from server during a HTTP connection: SSL_connect: certificate verify failed.
