How to handle telephone number information of my users?

Question

I have an user that has no telephone number in her properties page, nonetheless when she tries to login it asks her send an sms or phone call to an unknown number.

In other users, I tried to delete that same information and, although it no longer shows in the azure platform, in teams I can still see the erased phone number.

How/Where can I manage and erase the users contact number?

To update or remote the phone number from the users authentication methods please open the users account in the portal. click Authentication methods and you can update or remove the phone number for the users authentication methods

That did solve one problem, they can now access their account, tks.

How about the other question? How can I hide the telephone contact from one user to the other users?

Good to hear that solved your issue for MFA.

The phone number for MFA and contact information are not the same thing.
