Can Azure AD Connect process a change in membership of onprem AD group for 5000 members

Hi,

I am going to process a change in one of my onprem AD groups on around 5000 members. Will this cause any interruption in my Azure AD Connect services? We are running on Azure AD Connect V2. We did face an AD Connect crash a time ago while doing a similar activity but that time we were on V1 of AD Connect.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated!

    Hello @Apurva Pathak , yes Entra (formerly Azure AD) Connect V2 can sync changes in more than 5,000 users. Currently Microsoft Entra ID has a throttling limit of 7,000 writes per 5 minutes (84,000 per hour) before throttling so there should be no impact in your particular scenario unless it kicks additional writes. Eg. Multiple member changes accross multiple groups.
