Hyper-V Guest IDE to SCSI

Hello,

We use Hyper-V 2019 with a Server 2012R2 standard guest.
We would like to convert the OS hard drive from IDE to SCSI. How would I do that?
I would appreciate your help, thank you

    I wanted to do an in place update from server 2012r2 to 2019 standard. Unfortunately, that went wrong. thought it might be due to the IDE interface

    Hi AndiS,

    Hope you're doing well.

    Convert IDE to SCSI, this is not possible for the time being, IDE is only for Gen 1, SCSI is only for Gen 2.
