Hi All,

Trying to deploy corporate owned fully managed device in Intune for a generic branded android barcode scanner, running android version 10, the issue we have is the default manufacturer installed apps are not on the play store and when enrolling the devices these apps are removed from the device. This is then disabling the barcode scanner controls and physical keyboard buttons including the power button. Anyone know of a way to keep the default apps installed when enrolling dedicated devices into intune.

@JC 1234, Thanks for posting in Q&A. Based on my experience, there's no setting to keep the default app when doing corporate owned fully managed device enrollment.

You can check if the app can be added via Managed Google Play store app or Android Enterprise system app.
