Hello Guys
I have a problem connecting my Access Database to VB.Net 2010 Express.
ERROR Show "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider is not registered on the local machine"
I'm running:
Windows 11 Home 64bit
Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise
Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express
Read some forums on how to fix it so I installed the following
Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable (tried the other versions 2013, 2016 STILL ERROR)
Microsoft Access 2010 Runtime (tried the other versions 2013, 2016 STILL ERROR)
All those fixes and tips are still errors :(
I tried running it on another PC (2 Desktops Computer) which had:
PC1 - Windows 10 Pro
Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise
Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express
PC2 - Windows 10 Education
Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise
Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express
All works fine no errors directly connected to the Access Database WITHOUT installing the Microsoft Access Runtime and Database Engine.
Just wondered if this error is a BUG IN WINDOWS 11 OS... Or if there's another way to fix this can someone help me?
I can't downgrade my device to Windows 10 because of my company's rules.

Hi @Nocturnal_Agent ,
Have you tried the latest 2016 redistribution? It seems that only the newest version supports Windows 11.
Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable
Best Regards.
