Hello,
Today was a very bad day for me, i tried for 7 hours since morning to solve this problem by uninstalling, reinstalling multiple times, watching all YouTube videos and reading a lot of articles to try to solve this problem but nothing comes :( :( ,

I uninstalled SDK and reinstalled it manually from the website nothing comes out and solved the problem.

When I run a "say hi" code in c++ visual studio nothing comes instead of this errors

code:MSB8036

The Windows SDK version 10.0.22000.0 was not found. Install the required version of Windows SDK or change the SDK version in the project property pages or by right-clicking the solution and selecting "Retarget solution".

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Are you using any antivirus? If so, please try to disable it temporarily and check again.

    Please also try to reboot your machine, reset VS settings(running devenv /ResetSettings command in Developer Command Prompt for Visual Studio 2022 Community).

    In project properties page => expand Configuration Properties => select General => Windows SDK Version => try to choose "10.0 (latest installed version)" and check if it works.

    Hi @Tianyu Sun-MSFT

    I am facing the same issue,
    1- I followed your suggestion i.e reset VS settings(running devenv /ResetSettings command in Developer Command Prompt for Visual Studio 2022 Community).

    2- Made it sure that no antivirus is active.
    3- Restarted VS & my PC.

    But it won't work still facing the same issue, for clarity added the snaps.
    Kindly guide to resolve. Thanks
