Purview : How to capture scan completion status via atlas api call

Question

My customer wants to trigger the scans using synapse pipeline, where we are using a web activity call to trigger a scan (which is already created in purview), we need to then run another web activity to update the asset description after the scan is completed. Is there a way to get a signal back in the pipeline when the scan gets completed so we can trigger the next activity?

In short, we need to know when a scan gets completed to initiate next task which should start once the scan is completed. Any pointers will be helpful. Thank you.

Solution: We do have an API to get the status of the scan which was triggered earlier.

we need to specify the DataSource and the scan name and call the API to get the scan status and then can use it as per our requirement.

Got Answer to my Question. We do have an API to get the status of the scan which was triggered earlier.
