Shared folder in outlook attach file option for one drive

Hi, I have a shared folder with my colleague which is synced to my one drive. When I open my OneDrive, I can easily see the folder and access it. However when I’m working on my phone or iPad and want to attach a file from the folder in a mail, the folder does not show in the attachment tab

I understand your problem is that when you send a message on your phone or iPad, you cannot attach files from a shared folder in OneDrive. This may be because you don't have OneDrive enabled in the Files app.

According to my research, you can access shared folders in OneDrive on your phone or iPad by following these steps:

• Download the OneDrive app from the Apple App Store.
• Log into OneDrive with your Microsoft Account.
• On your iPhone or iPad, open the Files app. In the upper right corner menu pane, tap on edit. Enable the OneDrive toggle.
• When you attach a file to an email, choose Other Locations.
