We have a user in our firm who left the firm a year ago and rejoined recently. We had issues enrolling her phone with intune company portal. The old device that was registered last year was still showing up in Microsoft Entra. We were able to delete that device and reinstall the company portal and get other apps working except the outlook app. The outlook app shows Misconfiguration Alert. Exact message is "Your organization's support team wants you to login with this account: abc@xyz.com. But you tried to login with abc@xyz.com. Contact your organization's support team for help. This email address mentioned is exactly the same. Even If we click on add another account instead of just signing into the account abc@xyz.com that shows up upon opening outlook iOS app, it still shows this misconfiguration alert.

I am out of ideas of what to try because the device shows compliant in intune company portal. Any help would be appreciated.

@Aulakh, Manjot, Thanks for posting in Q&A. For the issue, we suggest remove outlook app from the device and deploy it via Intune to see if the issue will be resolved.

Meanwhile, please check if there's any app configuration settings with IntuneMAMUPN configured for the user. If yes, please let us know what we configure the value.

Please try the above suggestion and if there's any update, feel free to let us know.
