We are experiencing problems connecting to the mailbox with several users. Logging into OWA from the office or other locations/devices we receive the following error message. Users also experience problems with Outlook. Cannot connect or open folders. After a refresh or new Outlook profile, everything goes well, but after a while the problem occurs again.

    Hi @Menno ,

    Welcome to our forum!

According to your description, i notice that Outlook works briefly after you created a new profile and the issue also occurs on OWA, i'm afraid that the issue may be related to your current environment. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1.First check your internet connection to ensure it is stable and working properly.

2.Considering the impact of some third-party programs on your computer, please try to perform a clean boot for windows and check if the issue still occurs.

3.I've noticed that some users are experiencing the same problem, so please check if they have any unified programs or the same settings installed on their computers.

In addition, based on my research on the error you provided, i found a thread mentioned the similar error as yours and a user mentioned that the issue is caused by the firewall:

    User's image

It's suggested that you could check the firewall and disable it to check if there're any differences.

    Hope the above help!
