Did you try to send emails with PDF attachments?
If so, I'm afraid this is related to a temporary backend issue. Microsoft has taken note of it and is looking into it. Sorry for the inconvenience, please be patient and wait for this issue to be fixed and i will update here as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and support!
In addition, I found a thread mentioned that it's useful to change email format, as shown in the below image. It's suggested that you could try the workaround.
