Onedrive on android seems unable to search a single directry

Question

There is still no filter button showing on OneDrive for Android (I have a Pixel 7) so OneDrive still appears totally unable to search one directory on an android - when i search i get the results from my approx 1000 directories and nearly 80,000 files and this isn't satisfactory and doesn't give a meaningful result
