@David Zinzius, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From your description, I know the store app has been installed the later updated app. Bu the version not changed in the device details of the app in Intune portal. Based as I know, the app version displayed in the device install status may not be updated in real-time. You can wait one more day to see if the version will be updated.
However, if the version still not update, please open case to look into this issue:
