Hey everyone,

I need your help with an issue I'm facing on SharePoint 2013. I created a new search page and added the search box along with the search result web part. To customize the display of the search results, I created a custom display item template and added a few variables to show additional data about the list item.

After publishing the changes, the search results appeared as expected, except for one problem. When I clicked on the search item, it showed a link with /Pages/ and when I tried to open the item, it displayed a message saying that the page could not be found.

The URL of my search page is /Pages/Search.aspx. I want to know what needs to be changed so that the item link works properly.

Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi @Mantas Šedys ,

Thank you for posting in this community.

According to your description: the search results appear as expected. From this I think there is no problem with your search service.

However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, Please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.

1.Is this a problem with all search results?

2.Please make sure that the item that reported the error exists, it is possible that it has actually been deleted. For example, you can check directly in the stored library based on the document name or key information.

3.Is there any css code added to the page that is reporting the error? This will cause the error.

Hope the information can help you. And if there have any unclear or misunderstanding, please feel free to post back and we’ll continue to help you all the time!

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated! Hope you have a good day and keep safe!
