Reactivate deleted device

Had employee recently depart company and accidentally deleted wrong laptop from account. It was deleted as opposed to disabled.

OneDrive for Business share drive is still syncing properly but Outlook won't sign into Exchange. "Your organization has deleted this device. To fix this, contact system administrator and provide error code 700003."

This is a small family owned business and I'm the administrator but I can't figure out how to add it back as a recognized device. Where do I go to do that? I thought it would be somewhere in the portal.azure.com "all devices" page but there's no add device button. Entering account name/password on laptop does trigger the popup on phone Microsoft Authenticator app & recognizes when approved, but then goes back to the Something went wrong page.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Russ Fletcher

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Please understand that the tag “Exchange Online Management” is for general questions about Exchange Online. Since from the description and the error you shared, seems like the issue is more related to Entra ID, I’ll add the tag “Microsoft Entra ID” so that community users there can help look into it.

Also, if I understand correctly, you want to re-add the device? If so, I found a thread below about a similar issue and you can also take a look at dutch2005nl's answer here, I hope it will be helpful to you.
