How many minutes or hours does the app protection policy changes take effect ?

I have app protection policy for M365 core apps on android and IOS devices and I made a changes on the policy that users allow to open data from onedrive, sharepoint ,camera and photo library and all android user have intune company portal app together with the other Microsoft core apps. The Mobile devices not Intune enrolled.

the policy already take effect on the IOS smoothly but on the android devices I been waiting for almost 12 hours but still the policy didn't take effect. Trouble shooting that I have done is sign out sign in user account on the one drive app, uninstall onedrive app and sign in.

    You can force Intune Device check-in from the Company Portal App installed on your Android phone. Afterward, review the logs on your Android device to check if the policy is successfully applied.     @RJay,Thanks for posting in Q&A.

    From your description, I know that you have deployed app protection policy, but have not taken effect after a long time.

    For your situation, I know that the mobile devices are not enroll in Intune which may take a long time to take effect after policy assigned. Moreover, the policy delivery time depends on the license state and Intune service registration for your users.

    You can manually sync with Intune using Company Portal.

    Policy taken effect on android device, I set the Receive data from other apps to All apps and set allow Open data into Org documents and android device user already upload files using camera, photo library in onedrive for mobile. Thankyou for your time MS peeps.
