@Cerullo, Jacob Did you try to update the correct keys in your instance's configuration hosted UI page? Ensure the resource type is same as seen in below screen shot with the correct keys.
If this is correct, you can go ahead and publish it and then use the production tab to test the same.
One other instance that this could occur is when your TPS limits are not enough. Please see an earlier issue with similar message.
