Problems with posting and post editing
In this thread there were many problems posting and editing.
During one edit the post disappeared.
Attempts to reedit were not possible as it displayed error 404.
All of the time replying to the post and editing were wasted.
.
.
Some noted problems:
Building a thread in notepad followed by copy and paste regularly fails to maintain the layout.
Copy and paste into the post adds different text color to various text portions instead of maintaining black text.
Typing sentence or paragraph instruction numbers and are not maintained. Indentation is forced after clicking space.
Spacing between paragraphs is not maintained after clicking post your question.

A second post with .............. was made to make the post appear.
Please fix the Microsoft Q&A website so that a second post is no longer required to make first post appear in a timely fashion.

If you do not encounter any errors when posting then the content is there - just usually needs a refresh to show up - that has been my consistent experience.

Richard Hay • 1,381 Reputation points • Microsoft Employee2024-01-08T13:21:07.5866667+00:00 For most users, it is not necessary to post a second piece of content to make other content show up. So to help the devs troubleshoot this issue you are seeing, can you please send me F12 Dev Tool .har files for the next few times this occurs (when you post and the content does not show up - before hitting refresh or posting a second piece of content) - that will help them with troubleshooting. Thanks in advance. You can send them to me at richardhay at microsoft dot com.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-web-pubsub/howto-troubleshoot-network-trace
Plese be sure to get this file immediately after the content fails to show up. Thanks.
Send a few of them to help with the troubleshooting different instances of the content not showing up - that will help the devs troubleshoot.

2025-03-25T19:16:51.0566667+00:00 In March 2025, Microsoft did some changes in the Widows 11 Forums, that makes it almost impossible to edit a post. Also, they removed the capability of resizing the Screenshots to better fit the page.
Why did they mess this up? It was working fine earlier this year. It also still works correctly with Windows 10 Forum posts. They only messed up the editing of the windows 11 posts.
Why did they make these useless changes that just added new bugs?
Where are these problems reported? I could not find a link for the 2025 posting problems. They used to have a list of the problems updated every 3 months, where did that go?
