Greetings,

We have two domains located in separate locations, with a VPN connecting both sites and establishing a two-way trust relationship from Site A to Site B.

Our goal is to convert the existing two-way trust relationship into a one-way trust relationship.

Can anyone provide the necessary steps to accomplish this task?

Thank you.

    Hi,

To convert a two-way trust relationship to a one-way trust relationship, you will need to remove the trust in one direction. Here are the steps to accomplish this task:

    1. Log on to the domain controller for the domain that you want to remove the trust from.
    2. Open Active Directory Domains and Trusts (Start > Programs > Administrative Tools).
    3. In the console tree, right-click the domain name for the domain that you want to remove the trust from, and then click Properties.
    4. Click the Trust tab.
    5. Select the trust that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
    6. Click Yes to confirm the removal of the trust.

After completing these steps, the trust relationship will be one-way from the domain that you did not remove the trust from to the domain that you removed the trust from.
