Recovering System State - Local Drives Missing in Windows Server Backup Application

After recovering system state as files and dumping them onto the C or E (data) drive, I have moved on to the "Apply restored System State on a Windows Server" and chose to recover from local drives. But the Windows Server Backup application does not display any local drives other than the CD drive. I also tried sharing the folder on the network and entered the UNC path to the backup, but the application still could not see any backups. How do I get the application to show local drives, such as the C or E drive?

    Hi,

According to your description, it seems when you try to recovery the system state, it failed to find the backup. Please use the command to check if the backup exists:

    wbadmin get versions -backupTarget:<volumestorebackup>:

    Thanks for your time!
    Best Regards,
    Anne
