Hi,

I have problems with registering an Android MTR system. The customer is using Android Enterprise and not ADA.
When signing in on the endpoint I get the following error: "This unit isn't registered as Device Administrator, contact your admin."

I can't seem to find any settings in Android Enterprise to enroll Android MTR systems, has anyone else faced this issue and has a solution for it?
Or do you have to use ADA to register an Android MTR system?
Where can I find that in Android Enterprise?

Br,
Sebastian

@Sebastian Wathen Thanks for posting in Q&A. In fact, for the Android Enterprise, the device needs to be in Android Enterprise supported list in the following link:

    https://androidenterprisepartners.withgoogle.com/devices

Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

If the device is not in the list, then we can't enroll it with Android Enterprise. Based on my researching, the Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android now not support Android Enterprise. It only supports Android device administrator enrollment method. Here is a link with more details for your reference.

Hope the above information can help.
