Could someone just clarify a few things for me -

  1. Where in icloud specifically is the backup stored because I have enabled it in the authenticator app but I can't see it anywhere in icloud.
  2. The recovery account for the backup is an account in the authenticator app. Is this ok or does the recovery account not have to use 2FA ?

Thanks

So I need another personal account without 2FA ?

Yes, that's correct. You could try turning off cloud backup, then on again to select another personal account for backup.

Depends on the phone platform. No the recovery account should be a separate microsoft personal account. You can follow along here.
