"I have an old Excel binary workbook, and I am editing it with basic formulas. However, when I open or save the file, I encounter the '#NAME?' error. As a result, I am forced to close the file. Strangely, when I open it on another computer, it works fine. I have also tried saving it in various formats, but the issue persists."

    Hi,

What function did you use in the Excel?

What kind of Office version did you use?

I suggest you check the language you're using for Office, please go to File- Options- Language:User's image

Please check the Office Display language and proofing language you're using in Excel.

For different language the function name is different, and the error "#NAME?" the most common cause is a simple misspelling of the function being used.

Just checking in to see if the information was helpful. Please let us know if you would like further assistance.
