I have lost my active directory through a ransomware attack, we managed to get a 6-month-old version of the server, is it possible to use Azure AD "Microsoft Entra", as we already have a hyped deployment, and update the old version of our local AD from Azure AD?

To answer your question, it is possible to use Microsoft Entra (formerly known as Azure Active Directory) to update the old version of your local server 123. Microsoft Entra is a cloud-based directory and identity management service that provides user and group management, on-premises directory synchronization, basic reports, self-service password change for cloud users, and single sign-on across Azure, Microsoft 365, and many popular SaaS apps 1.
