    HeHello @Lin Zhao,

    Hello @Lin Zhao,

welcome to this moderated Azure community forum.

I tried to create an IoT Hub in China but it was not listed for me (probably because I need another agreement).

Then, I checked the documentation but China is not mentioned there. So no limitations are documented.

    Finally, I checked the availability:

It seems the IoT Hub is available in multiple regions but the Device Provisioning service only in a few of them.

The Azure Device Update service is not available in China.

To connect a device to a Azure IOT hub

    • Ensure that the MQTT protocol is not blocked in your firewall. If it is, use MQTT over WebSockets.
    • Add the device to the identity registry in your IoT hub.
    • Provide a name for your new device and save it.
    • Add a connection to your IoT hub.
    • Use X.509 or SAS to connect directly to an IoT hub, or use DPS to obtain the connection information needed to connect to an IoT hub.

But I do not if you can in the Mainland of China
