windows application packaging project not formating correctly

hi i hope you can help,
as you can see i opend a windows application packaging project with the shirt icon but when it is opend it shows the gift icon and no application.

what can i do to fix this

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

    The icons of the project may be different in different versions of VS. The "gift" icon you see User's image

    is the correct icon. And actually, it("gift") represents "Package".

    Normally, the application will be included in "Dependencies". But if you only create a Windows Application Packaging project, no application will be listed there. You need to prepare an application and add project reference to this application. Then the application will show in "Dependencies". Please kindly check this document: Set up the Windows Application Packaging Project in your solution(step 4).
