Adding someone to a teams meeting via phone says "false"

When hosting a teams meeting, I used to be able to add a participant to the meeting by dialing a number. Now whenever I try to, it comes up with this "false" pop up. It does this with any phone number I call. How do I fix it so I can add people?

    Hi @Emmy

According to our research, there are a few possible causes and solutions that you can try:

    • Check and update if the Microsoft Teams is the latest version.
    • PSTN conferencing is not turned on for your account. You need to contact your IT admin to enable this feature for you.
    • The correct licenses for PSTN conferencing are not purchased or applied. You need to check your subscription plan and make sure you have the necessary licenses for this feature.

Try to check the Audio Conferencig minutes.

With E5 Microsoft provides 60 minutes per license per month. Check Teams usage reports https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/analytics/reports, select PSTN minute pools and you can see total, used and remaing. If you use all then you can't add outgooing phone call to a meeting. You need buy a calling plan or a pay-per-use plan.
