Hello Team, could you please tell us Azure SQL DB backup is free, I want to retain the backup for 3 years then how to configure from azure portal and how to calculate cost of 3 years backup if not free.

Hi Ankush Ambadas Gurjar, Yes, the backups are retained in separate Azure Blob storage containers. However, these backups are not accessible for end-users as they are managed and stored by the Azure service. You can use backup and recover a database using these backups through the Azure portal, Azure CLI, or PowerShell. I am checking internally if there is another way of calculation for Backups by LTR. Thanks
