In order to login to blackboard which is my schools account, I have to use the authenticator app. I got a new phone and when I tried to login to my school account on the authenticator app it keeps giving me a number to enter into the app in order to approve my login, but I can’t exactly do that if I can’t login in to my account. So I cant even login to Microsoft to therefore enter a code to be able to login to blackboard.

    Check for Alternate Verification Methods:

    • Some accounts have alternative verification methods, such as using an alternate email address or a phone number. Check if there's an option to receive the code via an alternative method.

Account Recovery: - Visit the Microsoft account recovery page (account.live.com/acsr) and follow the instructions. You'll be asked to provide as much information as possible to verify your identity.

      **Contact Microsoft Support:**
         - If the automated recovery process doesn't work, consider reaching out to Microsoft support. You can find contact options on the Microsoft support website.

**Use Two-Step Verification Backup Codes (if enabled):**
            - If you had previously set up Two-Step Verification and generated backup codes, try using one of those codes to sign in.

            **Try Different Browsers or Devices:**
               - Sometimes, browser or device issues may prevent successful login. Try using a different browser or device to see if that resolves the problem.

               **Clear Browser Cache and Cookies:**
                  - Clear your browser's cache and cookies, as cached data may cause login issues.

    Check for Account Lockouts:

    • Ensure that your account is not locked due to multiple unsuccessful login attempts. If it's locked, you may need to wait for a specific duration before attempting to log in again.
