Am getting the following error: We can't add the selected users to the team right now. Try again later. Read an article and said that a workaround is to change the below setting from false to true but I don't know where to find that setting. Am searching in AD but not seeing it. UsersPermissionToReadOtherUsersEnabled

Hi @Jerry Ebanks Teams Admin manages this setting and you can find them here: https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/company-wide-settings/external-communications User's image

I have also allowed the user to be a guest on our domain and still am not able to share the file with him via a teams channel.

Hi, we're having the exact same issue. Externals are allowed and permissions to invite guests are set via policy. We are still getting the "We can't add the selected users to the team right now. Try later"

User is getting "due to admin policy, you can't add external people to the channel" when the policy is set to allow this.

How could we fix this? Thanks

The way I got it to work was to create a new teams channel with the right permissions enable but just make sure all your permission for external are enable.
