I am using Azure AI studio and have enabled speech in a project playground with a speech resource I created. It works great in playground but does not work when I deploy a web app. Any thoughts?

.- Firstly, please confirm if your Speech service is working fine from the curl command.
curl --location --request POST "https://%SPEECH_REGION%.stt.speech.microsoft.com/speech/recognition/conversation/cognitiveservices/v1?language=en-US&format=detailed" ^ --header "Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key: %SPEECH_KEY%" ^ --header "Content-Type: audio/wav" ^ --data-binary "@YourAudioFile.wav"- Please let us know if there are any errors / exceptions that you are encountering from web app. To check this you can use the Diagnose and Solve Problems setting mentioned here.
- Could you please click F12 button while accessing your webapp and check in the browser console tab? Check if there are any errors/exceptions ?
- Could you please collect the browser HAR traces while reproducing this issue again and share the trace with me ?

- Ensure that the
SPEECH_KEYandSPEECH_REGIONis correct. - You can also enable the Speech SDK logging to isolate this issue.

Ryan Martin 0 Reputation points2024-02-06T21:24:31.63+00:00 @navba-MSFT the speech to text works inside the playground and shows the microphone for me but when I deploy it to the web app the microphone icon is missing.
