Azure DNS: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED after configuring domain name

Hello, I am a student learning Azure services. I recently set up my domain name with Azure DNS and resolved a subdomain to my Azure VM IP's IIS service. However, when trying to access the website, my browser prompts ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. I have ensured that my domain name is added in my IIS settings and that my IIS is running a WordPress site. What configuration could be causing this issue?

There is key information missing from the question. 1) what's the URL that showed in the address bar of your browser? 2) What are the bindings you configured on IIS for your site? The two must match each other, or the requests won't go through. You might read https://docs.jexusmanager.com/tutorials/binding-diagnostics.html#background to learn more.

Thank you for your answer, I confirmed that the domain name was the same in both places, I thought it might have been an issue with the WordPress files being unpacked, when I redeployed the site files everything went back to normal.

Since the Microsoft Q&A community has a policy that "The question author cannot accept their own answer. They can only accept answers by others", I'll repost your solution in case you'd like to "Accept" the answer.

Issue:

You have delegated your Domain to Azure DNS.
You have configured the DNS Zone to have a record for an Azure VM running IIS.

Solution:

This was found to be an issue from the 3rd party service.
Post redeploying, you confirmed the issue has been mitigated.
