I have a Defender for Resource Manager enabled with old pricing model as below and there is a suggestion to upgrade to new pricing model.
I would like to get the number of API calls made during a particular month and calculate the corresponding Defender cost, to take a consolidated decision to upgrade the plan. Where can I get this metric? Thank you in advance.
Hi, You can only get it via Cost Management data. In 99% the new per subscription plan is better for you. Per API call model makes sense only if you do have some subscription that you mostly do not utilize and at the end the difference will be just 1$ at most.

Thanks @Stanislav Zhelyazkov for the prompt response. Yes, I was able to get the cost details from Cost Management data and calculated approximate number of API calls using that. In the new per subscription plan, is there any overage charges applicable or it is fixed $5/subscription/month?
It is if a fixed priced. One of the reason they have switched to that pricing is that. Previous was very uncertain as it was counting even GET API calls and those can be a lot and hard to control, follow and restrict.
