Azure Virtual Desktop Full Desktop Usage

How can I understand the usage of Azure Virtual Desktop, specifically which applications users launch and use within the full desktop? I would like to have an exact query that I can run, and I would prefer to use the default configurations for log collection.

Azure Monitor collects and aggregates data from a variety of sources into a common data platform where it can be used for analysis, visualization, and alerting. This solution provides a set of pre-configured dashboards and reports that allow you to monitor the usage of applications within Azure Virtual Desktop. Azure Monitor for Azure Virtual Desktop provides you a 360 degree view of your Azure Virtual Desktop environment. You can easily find and troubleshoot problems in the deployment, view the status and health of host pools, diagnose session issues, and understand resource utilization. General availability comes with many improvements including improved data collection and setup experience and cost optimizations. You can also look into Azure Virtual Desktop Insights based on your use case.

Hi, I don't think there is a query that will do this. There are 3rd party software which offers this, but if you don't want to buy this, you need to figure out how to log software starts. If this is already in the event log, you can use Azure Monitor Agent to fetch that information and put it into Log Analytics.
