I have a computer that started acting strange. AFTER login, it just sits there on the destop, without any taskbar for about 40 seconds.
Then it flashes black, shows a white window for a few seconds, flashes black again, and a few seconds later the taskbar appears. I have run both SFC and DISM commands, tried restart with no startup items, verified all the latest drivers, and made sure the latest Windows updates are installed. I grabbed a video with the issue here Regards SnowmanDK

Hello, Thank you for posting in Q&A forum. From Windows aspects, we would suggest troubleshooting the issue from below aspects: 1.Check if graphics Drivers is running well and try to update. 2.Check if there's any malware running on the machine. 3.Boot the machine in safe mode or clean boot, if this issue still exists. 4.Switch to another user and login again. 5.Update the windows os version to latest and see if it helps. Best Regards,

Hi, had the exact same Problem. Fixed it by verifying my Microsoft-Account under Settings - Accounts. On next reboot the White window asked for cloud sync, denied it, Problem fixed. Regards, J

    Hey,

I got exactly the same problem.

Here's what I did, not sure which of those 3 actions did the trick, cause I did them simultaneously, but seems one of them has resolved the issue:

    1. I disabled Windows Welcome screen using the instruction from this post: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-do-i-bypass-or-turn-off-windows-welcome-screen/97795273-7ae1-446e-96b0-689c654da4a0
    2. I disconnected my work account from my PC: Settings --> Accounts --> Access Work or School --> click on the account (if any) and disconnect
    3. I enabled Windows core isolation Memory Integrity: Windows Security --> Device Security --> Core Isolation Details --> Memory integrity --> Turn on
