Microsoft Teams keeps reverting to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) instead of Central Time

User currently is using new MS teams According to the user whenever creating a calendar invite it always revert to Coordinated universal time zone instead of Central time.

Setting it to correct time zone but kept going back to Coordinated universal time can you give solution for this?

I am seeing the same problem in the Mac version of the new "Microsoft Teams (work and school)"

I have tried:

• logging out and back in - Did not help
• Changing my timezone to something else and then back to Mountain Time here:
  https://myaccount.microsoft.com/settingsandprivacy/language and then restarting the app - Did not work

There does not seem to be a place in the app to change my timezone.

What else can I try?

This is happening with Outlook Book With Me as well. Teams reminders sent out are displaying in UTC instead of the local time for their Microsoft account. This has caused several reschedules with people, wasting time, providing inconvenience, unneeded stress, and inaccessibility. Microsoft, please patch Office356 suite to have this show local instead of UTC as most people outside of (and even people inside of ) enterprises don't understand conversion off the top of their head. Same problem for me on new teams for mac all new event schedule with calendar teams are default set in UTC time. No problem in outlook the setting is well set on UTC+1 and no problem in Teams Classic.

Clearing cache solved new calendar items showing as UTC but now have the problem which other users have indicated that the timezone does not match Outlook (or computer) settings. Should be UTC-7 but instead defaults to UTC-8.
