Unable to create TYPE (User-defined Type) in Azure synapse dedicated sql pool

I am unable to create a user defined table type in Azure Synapse dedicated SQL pool. I am getting follwoing error when creating a Type (User-defined Type) User's image

SQL Server and Azure SQL Server support to CREATE TYPE and we are migration from Azure SQL Server to Azure Synapse dedicated SQL pool. Does Azure Synapse Dedicated sql pool supports user defined table types? else do we have any alternative for this. Thanks Raheel

    Seems it's not supported, and the workaround will be to use temp tables instead. To not duplicate the answer, I am providing the link below, which was already answered by kranthipakala for a similar question. Pls go through and let me know if this helped.
