CLU (Language) - The entity of my exact utterance is not recognized by the trained model.

Hello, I must be missing something about intent, utterances and entities. Following the Microsoft Learn about CLU, I have created a List Entity called Page, and one of my utterances is:User's image

I trained the model and deployed it, but then when I test it with my exact utterance it doesn't recognize the entity. If anyone can pinpoint what I did wrong, that'd be greatly appreciated ;-) Thanks in advance.User's image

Nevermind, I found out that even though I had chosen "List" when creating the Entity (and followed the same process as used in the Microsoft Learn which is supposed to create a List Entity), my Entity was in the end not saved as a List entity but as a Learned entity...
I then had to open the entity, and do Add list for each at the bottom (which is super counter-intuitive by the way (after entering the value, you need to click on "Type in value and press enter" to add one or more synonym(s)). Hope this can help someone).

Hello @Maurice Petit , I'm glad that you were able to resolve your issue and thank you for posting your solution so that others experiencing the same thing can easily reference this! Since the Microsoft Q&A community has a policy that "The question author cannot accept their own answer. They can only accept answers by others ", I'll repost your solution in case you'd like to "Accept " the answer.

Issue: CLU (Language) - The entity of their exact utterance is not recognized by the trained model. Having trouble getting their CLU model to recognize the "Page" entity in their utterance, even though they had created a List Entity.

Solution: Identified that their entity was not saved as a List entity, but as a Learned entity. To fix this, the user had to open the entity, and do Add list for each at the bottom (after entering the value, need to click on "Type in value and press enter" to add one or more synonym(s)

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Vasavi
