@Vinod Survase, Thanks for posting in Q&A. The Windows Package Manager, or winget, is an open-source project developed by Microsoft. It is maintained by Microsoft employees and community contributors on GitHub. The apps available through winget are updated by their respective developers.

And winget can be used to install the latest version of an app. When apps are deployed using Intune, most apps are automatically updated when there's an app update available. And the update is uploaded by their own developer.

Hi Crystal-MSFT Thanks for you reply here. I would like to know whether this is been considered secure way and accepted by Cybersecurity perspective for apps deployment via Intune because there might be questions whether we should use this mechanism to deploy the apps via Intune or what?

@Vinod Survase, Thanks for the reply. To consider secure reason, you can upload the app to Microsoft store and deploy it via Microsoft Store new app in Intune.

In general, Microsoft Store Win32 installers are downloaded by the Windows Package Manager (WPM) to install
