New Teams for MAC worked at first, now get an Offline message even though I'm online

After loading new TEAMS for Mac and having it work initially, I keep getting a message saying 'You're Offline" restart...nothing I do fixes this including turning off VPN, etc.

    Is there the same issue with the Teams web client?

    Is there the same issue only with the new Teams desktop client?

    There are many reasons for this problem, try the following possible solutions:

    • Clean up the Teams cache and restart Teams.
    • Reset your status by clicking on your profile picture and selecting a different status option.
    • Also, based on the user's feedback, try removing the two keys from the registry and then restart the computer. (Note: Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before making changes, back up the registry to restore it in case something goes wrong.)
