    Hi Benjamin,

The best thing to do is to have a project and actually have a purpose for spinning up the services. If you have an interest there are two different paths:

#1 You can create resources in Azure (using the Azure Free Trial):

If you haven't you can sign up for Azure Free to get $200USD for the first month to try out the services.

#2 Download the ISO for Windows Server and run it locally:

Hello Benjamin Starting a career in cloud is a great choice, and Microsoft provides a wide range of certifications that can help you get started. Here are some recommendations:

    1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900): This certification is a great starting point if you’re new to cloud or Azure. It covers the basics of cloud concepts, Azure services, Azure workloads, security and privacy in Azure, as well as Azure pricing and support.
    2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104): This certification is for those who are managing and maintaining Azure environments. It covers topics like managing Azure identities, governance, storage, compute, and virtual networks.
    3. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800 + AZ-801): This certification is specifically designed for those who want to specialize in Windows Server 2019 and hybrid environments.

For learning resources, Microsoft provides a variety of online training materials:

Remember, hands-on experience is often valued highly in the IT industry, so try to get as much practical experience as you can while studying for these certifications.
