A particular team is not allowing Members to add new channels. I have tested with other Teams and allows me to do so. The settings are enabled to allow Member to manage channels. Any ideas how to resolve this?

    Hi @Rebecca

Which type of channel did you create? Private Channel or shared channel?

Are you the Teams owner in your organization?

Based on my knowledge, there are several reasons could cause this issue:

1)Teams Channel Limitation: The number of channels has a maximum. The following table shows each limitation for your reference:

    User's image

    2)Check these Teams channel settings:

The following image show the process:

    1. Click More options (…) next to the team > choose Manage team.
    2. In team management page, choose Settings > expand Member permissions and check if Allow members to create and update channels is selected.

Besides, we recommend you try to test if you have the same issue in Teams web client.

Thanks for all those suggestions - I had reviewed each of them prior to asking. It turned out that the user was trying to create a channel with the name of a deleted channel from that team in the end!
