Please check if you have Registered 'Microsoft. Storage' in the resource providers menu in the Azure subscription. Select the item and click on 'register' on the top of the page.
To register for Microsoft. Storage subscription, please follow the steps below:
- Go to the Azure portal and sign in to your account.
- Click on Subscriptions from the left-hand menu.
- Select the subscription you want to register for.
- Click on Resource providers from the left-hand menu.
- Search for Microsoft.Storage and click on it.
- Click on Register to register [Select the item and click on 'register' on the top of the page] the resource provider as shown in below image.
Once registered then try creating the storage account refer - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/blobs/create-data-lake-storage-account for detailed guidelines.
Also please review the Validation errors and check if you are seeing any of these and resolve with the mitigation steps provided in the doc.
