Hello,

This problem occurred randomly over the weekend, seemingly after I switched to the new version of Teams.

I'm unable to share/upload/open files. When I click on the files tab in the desktop app, it doesn't load. When I click on the files tab on the desktop website, it doesn't load and I receive this message "my university name.sharepoint.com’s server IP address could not be found." When I open the files tab in the mobile app, I receive this message "Looks like you're offline. Please connect to the internet and try again". I am strangely however still able to view/create posts and join meetings. This problem isn't occurring for other students with the university domain, so I don't believe it is a domain issue. When using mobile data, the application works fine but i can't be constantly working off of mobile data.

I have tried logging off the app and restarting my computer, adding the necessary IP addresses to my firewall, disabling the firewall completely, deleting and reinstalling the app, clearing the cache, logging in online, using the older version of the desktop app again, and resetting my wifi router.

Please let me know how i can resolve this issue, it is urgent.

I had 2 Android phones with the same problem related to Skype and Teams. Worked fine on mobile but not on my home WiFi. I have a Firewalla Gold router and their support figured out we simply needed to disable IPv6.

Teams, Hotmail Login and Skype all work on Wi-Fi now.

    Go Firewalla Support Team!!!!

You may check your network's Advance Settings --> Privacy --> Use device MAC address. It worked for me.
